Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Neves Construction is a Florida Certified General Contractor, license CGC1541164, with $1M in general liability coverage. You can view the license on the state's website from the link in our footer.
What areas do you serve?
St. Augustine, Jacksonville, St. Johns, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee and the communities around them in St. Johns and Duval counties.
Do you build new homes or only remodel?
Both. We build new homes, accessory buildings and additions, and we remodel kitchens, bathrooms and whole homes.
How do your estimates work?
Every estimate is written and broken down line by line, by phase and trade, with material allowances listed separately. You can see exactly where each dollar goes before you sign.
Can you quote my project without a visit?
Many smaller projects can be quoted from photos and a video call. Larger remodels and new construction need a walkthrough so the price reflects what is really there.
Do you pull permits?
Yes, whenever the work requires one. Rules differ between St. Johns County, the City of Jacksonville and St. Augustine, and we handle the permit and every inspection.
Who will actually be working on my house?
Our in-house crew handles key phases of the work, and licensed plumbing, electrical and other trade partners we have worked with for years handle the rest. The owner, Vitor Neves, oversees every project.
