Questions
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
It depends on the scope and on lead times for cabinets and countertops. We give you a schedule with the estimate, and we order long-lead items before demolition so your kitchen is out of service for as short a time as possible.
Do I need a permit for a kitchen remodel?
Replacing cabinets and counters in the same place often does not. Moving plumbing, adding circuits or changing walls usually does. Rules differ between St. Johns County, the City of Jacksonville and St. Augustine, and we pull the permit whenever the work requires one.
Can you give me a price before visiting?
For some projects we can give a quote from photos, measurements and a video call. Larger remodels need a walkthrough so the estimate reflects what is behind the walls.
Can I supply my own appliances or materials?
Yes. We list owner-supplied items on the estimate so it is clear what we are and are not responsible for.
